Travel Photography: The Art of Compromise

It’s always exciting to see my work in a printed magazine. This time, a six-page spread in CAPA’s Canadian Camera Spring 2025 issue. I talk about the challenges of travel photography when it comes to choosing gear. It truly is the art of compromise! Images featured include some taken with a full-frame Nikon Z8 with a 160-600mm lens (in Antarctica with Atlas Ocean Voyages) and others with micro-four-thirds Panasonic Lumix G9M2 (on an Adventure Canada expedition cruise) and various lenses including a Leica 100-400mm (equivalent to a 200-800mm full frame lens).
