The results of the 2022 PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada) National Image Salon are my best yet! My bear image not only received an Excellence (the highest score possible) but it was also nominated for the Best in Class award and chosen for the prestigious Loan Collection. This is the first time in all my years competing that I’ve had an image get this score and make it into the collection so I’m beyond thrilled! Having all four of my submitted images do well also meant I got nominated for the Photographic Artist of the Year for the second time. I did not win but was in great company and am so honoured to have made the list.
